SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

Christ has called us to be light and salt in our community. We at Mountaintop take this command seriously as the words of our witness are connected to the works of our witness!  Whether supporting the High school Bible Club, opening prayer for town meetings or participating in town events, special services, or making our building and resources available in times of crisis, Mountaintop is present and available to be a blessing to the Mount Olive Community.
Mountaintop Church along with Partners in compassion, A partnership of religious, private, public institutions and individuals committed to corporately meeting the needs of Mount Olive, administrates, and operates the
Mount Olive Pantry at Christ Episcopal Church. It is our heartfelt prayer and desire that no family in our community due without when it comes to food, shelter, and the basic necessities of life.  Just as Christ spiritually is the Living Water and Bread of Life, so we want to demonstrate this truth in a temporal way for all people to know the grace, compassion, and generosity of our Savior.  It is our mission that in partnering together we can meet every need in Mount Olive.

As our greatest need is always a steady donation of food and life basics, there is great need also for funding as there are overhead costs. Donations of goods, services, or cash are always a blessing to so many in our community in need. If you or your organization would desire to partner with us by helping cover these expenses, please let us know.  You can call at 908-850-5477 .  Checks can be made payable to “Mount Olive Pantry.”
Mountaintop partners with Community Abolition Network, connecting state, county, and local law enforcement as well as health services in educating, planning rescues and the arduous task of assisting young women coming out of human trafficking and helping provide all they need for freedom, healing and future success!  There is no greater work then “setting the captive free!” To get involved with this worthwhile ministry you can contact Community Abolition Network.
Mountaintop actively involved in the Mount Olive Clergy Association.  The clergy association has partnered closely with Mount Olive Township, The Mayor’s Office, The Mount Olive Board of Ed, Mount Olive Police Department, the Mount Olive Fire Department and Mount Olive Senior Services.  The Clergy Association continually explore new opportunities for Mountaintop along with other area Churches, to meet pressing needs and speak into many aspects of the life and leadership of Mount Olive Township.
